What are you thinking of majoring in, in college?

I am going to major in engineering with a specialization in mechatronics.

What are you looking forward to most playing about college lacrosse?

I am looking forward to the fast play and higher competition. I am also looking forward to continue to learn new things and techniques to better my game.

What will you miss most about Tenacity Texas/BearLax?

I will miss all the friends I made for BearLax and all the coaches I got to interact with. Also, the competition and high level of play.

What is a MUST HAVE item you will be bringing with you to college?  (for your dorm room, for school/lax, etc.)

A must have item I would bring is definitely my Nintendo 3DS because I really like video games and living without it would be hard.

Who was your biggest lacrosse influence in Houston/Bay Area?

My biggest lacrosse influence I guess would be all the people I got to meet throughout the years. Once I got to meet them and all the coaches I worked with, they helped shape who I am today.

Who is your lacrosse “idol”/role model?

Probably my lacrosse role model, as cheesy as it sounds, would be Jackie Gilbert. Not only is she a stud muffin lacrosse player, she is also a good friend. She helps me by pushing me harder and to try my best at practice.

What is one piece of advice you would give players for learning to handle pressure as a student-athlete?

One piece of advice I would give to help balance school and lacrosse is to try not to procrastinate. If you have to, school should come first so maybe miss that one workout or practice to get the grades you want. Don’t be afraid, or rather lazy, and get to doing your work early and on time.

What is a piece of advice you could give underclassmen for setting goals and implementing a game plan for becoming good at things?

Some advice I would give about setting goals and implementing a game plan for becoming good at things would be to start small. Make your goals attainable and fight hard for them. Work on them everyday and repetition is key. Make a calendar if you have to to manage your time or life better. But, stay ambitious and hungry to reach your lifelong dreams to make them come true. Don’t be disappointed if it does not work at first. You have to keep fighting through and keep at it until it starts to work 100% of the time.

What does “Tenacity” mean to you?

Tenacity to me means to never give up and keep working until you reach what your trying to attain. It means to stay hungry. Be outgoing and be the best you.
