Pursuit of Better Academy: Your Competitive Edge. 

This Tenacity Training program provides individual skill development and mental toughness conditioning to intermediate thru advanced lacrosse players.  Tenacity Athletes pursue excellence over perfection, going from good to better everyday.  Our POB staff of current and former college players and coaches aims to provide athletes with the skills and mentality that help them succeed in any team or system they join in the future.  We are training athletes to train themselves.

Goalie World: This is the program within our POB Academy, specifically tailored to goalies.  You will not be thrown into shooting drills, but rather working with a goalie coach and dedicated shooters (coaches) when the curriculum calls for it. College coaches and Professional players have advised on the curriculum for Goalie World, and Current/Former college players and coaches will be delivering the curriculum in each region.  Look out for guest appearances from some of our advisors throughout the year!

Curriculum includes:

• Pre and post practice routines that condition championship habits and mindset.
• Stickwork
• 1v1 Attacking Skills
• 1v1 Defending Skills
• Small Sided Competitions

Calendar: 

• Academy Training occur in 6 session increments during what we call “shoulder seasons” – between the local spring seasons and summer club tournament schedule; the summer and fall; and for some areas, we offer an additional winter session.
• In some locations, POB will occur in one weekend vs. over six separate sessions over multiple weeks.
